The 2021 edition of “One Shining Moment”

Deprived of “March Madness” last year due to pandemic, the NCAA season this time was able to hold its final tournament in Indianapolis. And we can say that it was a success because in addition to the seriousness of all the teams involved who held to the rules, we were treated to very high level matches, like the semi-final between UCLA and Gonzaga , and obviously a few “upsets” throughout this “March madness”.

As always, “One Shining Moment” recaps the entire tournament, with its emotional roller coaster, in a short video which notably traces the “fairy tales” of Oral Roberts and Max Abmas, who finally fell against Arkansas at the stadium. Sweet 16, just like Loyola Chicago and Cameron Krutwig against Oregon State, or Abilene Christian who knocked down Texas in the first round and North Texas who overthrew Purdue.

UCLA obviously figures prominently there after having gone from the “First Four” to the “Final Four”, having resisted a first extension from the “First Four” against Michigan State, then another against Alabama after the firing of the buzzer d ‘Alex Reese. The third was on the other hand fatal with this shot from Jalen Suggs in the semi-final.

Baylor and Gonzaga will indeed have managed to meet in the final but the poster expected by a whole country quickly turned to the advantage of the Bears, superior both defensively and offensively, behind Davion Mitchell and Jared Butler, but also MaCio Teague and Adam Flagler.
