It was already one of the greenest festivals, and now also one of the most royal. Anyone who went to Paradise City in Perk in Flemish Brabant on Friday evening might just bump into Prince Laurent there. It is not known whether he was here to order an environmentally friendly beer.

Prince Laurent (58) was spotted on the festival site, among the other partygoers. In any case, he thanked him for a selfie with passers-by. Or how royals sometimes just want to take part in a festival.

Paradise City is known as the ultimate ecological dance festival. Not only are visitors transported to and from the festival location by public transport (electric shuttle buses and night trains), even the straws are made of edible material.

Internationally renowned DJs such as Fatima Yamaha, DJ Seinfeld and Dan Shake perform in the atmospheric castle grounds. On Friday evening it was the turn of, among others, the Brussels record turner Mambele, Karla Böhm and the Berlin techno-violence of Dixon.

While dancing, the prince has not been photographed, but he could already enjoy the beautiful weather. Festival-goers were lucky with the sun on Friday.
