Sasitaroor ended his campaign in Kerala without securing the support of the leadership and groups. Tharoor left for Chennai without meeting any of the main leaders except Oommen Chandy. Tharoor said he was not disappointed with the Kerala tour and was looking to the vote of conscience.
Shashi Tharoor went to his home to look for votes in Maharashtra and Telangana. It is estimated that the campaign did not ignite as the leadership and groups declared loyalty to Kharge before Tharoor arrived. Although he had been in Thiruvananthapuram for three days, only senior leaders such as Oommen Chandy, Vakkam Purushothaman and Thenala Balakrishna Pillai could be seen. It was not possible to guarantee the support of a group in the meeting with Oommen Chandy. Chenithala also made Group I’s position public by announcing that they would campaign with Kharge. Tharoor countered that Chenithala, who does not have an office, can campaign for Kharge.
Tharoor, who has his mind fixed on the vow of conscience, sees K. Sudhakaran’s statement that there will be a vow of conscience as a good sign. Tharoor is in constant contact with the second band of the groups. The manifesto published in English and Hindi will soon also be released in Malayalam. Meanwhile, Tharoor has traveled to Chennai to seek votes. Shashi Tharoor met with representatives of the Tamil Nadu Congress. Tharoor said it was a friendly match with Mallikarjun Kharge.
