Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) would like to thank all those who have worked hard in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
This was stated by Jokowi when giving a press statement after reviewing the Grass Market Flats, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/7/2021). The Grass Market Flat will be an isolation place for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms and people without symptoms (OTG).
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to doctors, health workers and all volunteers who work from morning to night to deal with Covid-19,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi then ordered all regional heads scattered in various parts of Indonesia to come down to directly check the situation in the midst of a surge in Covid-19 cases.
“I also ask all governors, regents and mayors both on the islands of Java and Bali as well as outside Java to continue to come down,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi also asked the ranks of regional heads to control various kinds of readiness, both for medicines and related to medical equipment needed by patients.
“Both oxygen cylinders and isolation places are always and must be prepared,” he said.
