There are locations with test stations spread throughout the entire Bad Kissingen urban area, because the city of Bad Kissingen has set up a network of test centers and test facilities in cooperation with various external partners. Testing facilities are in place at various hours, including weekends and holidays, allowing residents and visitors to the city to conveniently and safely obtain negative rapid test certificates. The opening hours of the test stations will continue to be flexibly adapted to needs and demand.

Since June 30, 2022, not all people are entitled to free citizen testing without cause, but only certain groups in vulnerable settings, such as:
- children up to 5 years,
- unvaccinated,
- Visitors to hospitals and care facilities as well
- caring relatives.
Some other groups, such as visitors to indoor events or people with a warning message in the CoronaWarn app, are entitled to be tested by paying a deductible of 3 euros.
