At 5:50 pm the MIUR published the solutions for the entrance exam to Medicine: see the complete test here (the correct answer is always A).
On the net and on Facebook group Test Medicine information on questions and difficulties begins to circulate. For many students the test was in line with last year’s and that’s why they start thinking about a minimum score to enter of about 39. In reality, in order to obtain the certain data on the minimum score to enter, it is necessary to wait for the publication of the ranking, expected for 29 September. According to some candidates the questions of logic were more difficult than in the past, while those of general culture, among which we also find: “Who is the author of The Lord of the Rings?”. In the test also questions about robotics, Asimov and the time zone. The Ministry should shortly publish the complete text of the entrance exam to Medicine on the website dedicated to restricted access courses. As soon as there is news, we will update the article.
At 13:40 the Medicine test 2020, after the 100 minutes scheduled for the test, it is time to put down the pen and follow the instructions of the commission for the latest practices. Students will be provided with a pair of labels with an alphanumeric code to be applied on the personal data sheet and on the answer form.
At 12 o’clock the kick-off of the Medicine test 2020: after the recognition procedures for access to the locations where the test takes place, the commission delivered the packages containing the test questions, the answer sheet, the personal data sheet and two sheets for the draft to all participants. From the starting time they have 100 minutes to solve the 60 questions of the test: each correct answer will be scored 1.5 points; those not given are worth 0; while the wrong ones -0.4.
I’m 66.638 candidates enrolled in the test and compete for one of the 13.072 places available on the national territory. The admission test to access the Master’s Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery consists of 60 multiple choice questions and must be completed in 100 minutes. The arguments? General culture and logic, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
Also this year the student associations they protested with a flash mob at the Sapienza University of Rome against what is, in fact, a funnel training system. Protests also against the cost of the test which this year reached € 100, in some cases triple compared to 2019.
MEDICINE TEST 2020 AND CORONAVIRUS
This year the Medicine test takes place directly in the university closest to the residence of each candidate: if until last year the aspiring freshmen had to take the admission test in the location indicated as first preference. This novelty, introduced by Ministry of University and Research, represents a necessary measure to avoid travel between regions and contain the risk of contagion from Covid-19.
In addition to this novelty, and always in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus, students will have to bring with them the mask that they will have to wear for the entire duration of their stay in the university premises and will also have to fill in and submit theself-certification on their state of health.
After the recognition operations, the commissions will distribute to the candidates each one, containing:
- a personal data sheet to be filled in with your data;
- the sheet with the questions;
- 2 draft sheets to use for calculations and more;
- a answer form with the same identification code as the package;
- a sheet on which are affixed the identification code of the package as well as the indication of the university and degree course to which the test refers.
MEDICINE 2020: THE ALTERNATIVES IF YOU DO NOT PASS
To stay out of the ranking of the medicine test 2020 there will therefore be about 50 thousand candidates who will fall back on one of the possible plan B, such as enrollment in an alternative Degree Course, or enrollment in Medicine abroad.
MEDICINE TEST: WHEN DO THE SOLUTIONS COME OUT
The solutions for the admission test to Medicine 2020 they will be out by the afternoon on the website of the Ministry of University dedicated to national restricted access courses. To get an idea of the time of publication of the complete test, we can refer to the time when the MUR published the solutions of the first Entry test in September, that of veterinary: at 17.20. Once the answers have been published, the aspiring freshmen will be able to begin to get an idea of the score achieved even if for the nominative ranking we will have to wait for the September 29. Before this date, students will be able to consult the anonymous ranking on 17 September (scores will be published according to the label code) and your score on the 25th of the same month.
