Despite the increasing cases of people infected with Kovid in the country, the regional crisis headquarters in Vidin allowed the holding of the traditional Vidin fair, but under certain conditions, Bulgaria ON AIR reports.
The meeting was held without the presence of the media. The director of the city’s health inspectorate opposed the fair, but his opinion was not taken into account.
As of last night, the doors of the Vidin Fair are open, and those present can enter only with a mask and at a distance from each other. Masks, however, were rarely seen, and there was almost no distance.
“We are a little worried, but we are a green zone here and that’s why,” said those present at the fair.
“It’s more important for me to go up there, that’s it! You live once,” said some of the participants.
Vidin Municipality has taken all possible measures to protect people’s health, said Deputy Mayor Borislava Borisova.
“I think we have created a good organization for the normal course of the fair. The concerts will be held on stage, and people should be at a distance of 1.5 meters. If they can not keep a distance – a mask,” said Borisova.
The biggest crowd is expected on August 24th and 26th, when Serbian stars Dragana Mirkovic and Mile Kitic will take the stage.
