Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto will prioritize controlling the corona virus (Covid-19) and Tuberculosis or TB in 2021. In addition there are several other programs that will be run.
The Ministry of Health, said Terawan, will use the 2021 budget ceiling of Rp. 84.3 trillion to run these programs.
“The Ministry of Health is committed to implementing priority programs and activities to support the achievement of the President’s vision and mission, especially in the prevention and control of diseases including Tuberculosis and Covid-19,” said Terawan at the 2021 Financial Note and RAPBN press conference on the Youtube channel of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. Friday (14/8).
Terawan also compiled a program to meet the coverage of the National Health Insurance Contribution (JKN) Beneficiary for the Indonesian people. He has set a target that in 2021, 96.8 million people will become JKN participants.
“And there is an increase in targeting accuracy,” said Terawan.
The next program is health development in the form of improving maternal and child health. The program’s focus is focused on reducing maternal mortality and infant mortality rates.
The program to accelerate the improvement of public nutrition, including the prevention of stunting, will also be optimized in 2021.
Then, the Ministry of Health has participated in formulating priority programs to strengthen the healthy living community movement or Germas. Finally, the Ministry of Health formulates a program to improve the national health system, including access, quality of health services and improving the quality of health human resources.
“Then there is the availability of quality and affordable medicines and medical devices as well as handling and reducing the risk of a health crisis,” said Terawan.
It is known, the Ministry of Health’s 2021 budget ceiling of IDR 84.3 trillion consists of Pure Rupiah (RM) worth IDR 69,476.0 billion, PNBP IDR 409.1 billion, BLU IDR 13,963.9 billion, and IDR 450.6 billion PLN.
