Siniak will face Sara Sorribesova from Spain in the semifinals, who advanced without a fight after the resignation of the injured former Belarusian world number one Victoria Azarenka. Siniaková will play for the first final participation in the singles since January 2018 today, because the quarterfinals could not take place in the original Thursday due to rain.
