Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Palma go to phase 1 | Radio Club Tenerife

The director of the Center for the Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies, Fernando Simón, announced this Friday that the entire Canary Islands will pass to phase 1 of the Coronavirus deconfusion Plan starting this Monday, with an increase in mobility and economic activity.

Simón has detailed that from May 11 the whole of the Canary Islands will pass to phase 1, after three of their islands were already in it: La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa.

The head of the Coordination Center explained that you must “work” in the direction of not producing an “increased risk.” For his part, the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, announced that 51 percent of the Spanish population will pass this Monday to phase 1 of the Plan drawn up by the Executive.

“Almost half of the Spanish population is in a position to have the corresponding Phase 1 measures as of Monday,” the minister revealed after the meeting of the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System.
