Ten years later, NieR Replicant will land on Steam, and in an improved version

NieR Automata was an incredible success, winning unanimous support from both players and the media. So much so that its predecessor, NieR Replicant, has been brought to light, although there are a few issues to note. First, it’s not available on PC, and graphics like gameplay worked well in 2010 are less relevant today.

Fortunately for us, Square Enix has good news for us on video:

For the moment decked out with the sober title of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… without knowing whether it is final or not, this game is not not a remake or a remaster, according to the publisher. It’s about a “improved version“, Thus including new content, of new music by the original composer and the possibility of alternative ending has even been mentioned.

Platinum Games will be back for development but will also be supported by Toylogic, all under the supervision of Square Enix. If the editor did not give any exit window, we know however that this updated version of NieR Replicant will have a release on Steam.
