Ten armed civilians arrested in Baja California and Sonora

A total of ten generators of violence in the states of Baja California and Sonora were arrested and one killed in four operations at various points in both entities.

The Secretary of Citizen Security and Prevention of Baja California reported that Municipal Police officers confronted a criminal cell in the Mexicali Valley.

They were supported by elements of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC), which led to the arrest of four civilians, alleged generators of violence and Four long weapons, eight loaded magazines, a fragmentation grenade, useful cartridges, ballistic vests and a stolen Tahoe truck were seized from them..

A second truck fled in the direction of San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, whom the police confronted as part of the Interstate Coordination and Collaboration Agreement of the Pacific States.

In that border municipality they killed one criminal and captured four, reported the Sonora Prosecutor’s Office.

They seized three long weapons, a pistol, dozens of cartridges and 52 devices known as ‘tire punches’.

While in Tijuana, in two operations they arrested three men in possession of three pistols and drugs, also identified as generators of violence.
