Temperature takes a dip – De Standaard

A rain zone is shifting from the center to the east of the country on Friday morning, the RMI reports. The rain zone can be particularly active in the east. Over the west it remains predominantly dry with clouds and there are gradually wide clearings.

In the afternoon it also usually gets dry over the east and it becomes partly cloudy everywhere. It is less warm with maximums of 23 degrees at the sea to 28 degrees in the east of the country. The south to south-west wind increases to moderate, and over the west sometimes to quite strong with gusts of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.

In the evening it will remain partly cloudy and dry. At night it usually gets slightly cloudy, but towards tomorrow morning the chance of showers in the coastal area increases. The minima fluctuate from 13 to 18 degrees with a weak to moderate southwest wind.

On Saturday, the RMI expects clearings and cloudy periods with a few showers. The maximums fluctuate between 20 and 23 degrees, which is about normal for the time of year. It is quite windy with a moderate to local sometimes quite strong southwest wind. On the coast, the wind sometimes even blows strongly. Wind gusts of up to 65 kilometers per hour are possible.

Also on Sunday it remains variable to sometimes heavily cloudy with a few showers. The maximums are between 17 and 22 degrees. The west-southwest wind blows moderately and on the coast quite strong with peaks of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Monday we get an alternation of sun and clouds. A few (light) showers are still possible at maximums of 17 to 21 or 22 degrees. On Tuesday it will be dry first with clearings, then it will be heavily clouded with sometimes some rain. We reach a maximum of 16 to 22 degrees.

On Wednesdays it is often overcast with periods of showers. The maxima are around 21 degrees in the center. On Thursday, cool North Sea air will reach our regions with possibly some light precipitation. The maxima do not climb higher than 15 to 20 degrees.
