On his first call as Secretary of State, Secretary Antony J. Blinken today spoke with Canadian Foreign Minister Marc Garneau. He highlighted the close partnership between the United States and Canada on a wide range of issues, and said he looked forward to working closely with Foreign Minister Garneau to revitalize our economies, strengthen the northern partnership America more broadly and address common challenges, especially those of COVID-19 and climate change, among many others.
