A group of scientists suspect that there is life currently running on Mars, even predicting that Mars could become a new habitat after Earth.
One of the signs that hint at life on Mars is the recent finding of a bear face on the planet’s surface.
Reported Channel News Asia, Wednesday (1/2/2023), scientists operated HiRISE (High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment), which has circled Mars since 2006. It processed the data that brought it back to Earth, and has now published an image of the face.
“There is a hill with a V-shaped collapse structure (nose), two craters (eyes) and a circular fault pattern (head),” said the scientists at the University of Arizona, who operated the device.
Each of these 2 km wide surface features has a possible explanation that hints at how active it is planetary surface this.
“The circular fault pattern may be caused by the deposition of deposits over buried impact craters,” the scientists said.
“Perhaps the nose is a volcanic or mud vent and the sediment could be lava or mudflow?” he continued.
