Team17 announces Overcooked remaster bundle for next-gen consoles – Gaming – News

Team17, the developer and publisher behind the Overcooked games, has announced Overcooked All You Can Eat. This is a bundle for the next-gen consoles, in which the first two cooking games can be played in 4k and at 60 frames per second.

Team 17 reported that Overcooked and Overcooked 2 are part of the bundle, including all content released for the two games so far. According to the developer, the games have been rebuilt from scratch. The company is talking about remasters that also have to load a lot faster. Furthermore, new content will become available, there is one assist mode which can make it easier to progress a round and there are features for players with disabilities, such as a scalable user interface and text that should also be readable by people with dyslexia.

Another innovation is that the original Overcooked has been recreated in Overcooked 2’s engine, which means it will be possible to play that game with friends online too. In addition, there is cross-player multiplayer support for both titles, allowing players on the Xbox Series X to play alongside friends who purchase the bundle for the PS5. It is still unknown when Overcooked All You Can Eat will be released, but it will probably be at the end of this year when the two new consoles are released.
