Teachers, Want to Teach Abroad? Ministry of Education and Culture is Open Selection, Check the Terms

SOLO, KOMPAS.TV- The challenge is given to teachers in the country. The reason is, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) opens opportunities for educators in Indonesia to teach abroad.

Through the 2021 Joint Selection program for the Admission of Indonesian Schools and Education Personnel for Overseas (SILN), it is planned that teachers who pass the selection will be placed in a number of countries.

The countries include Singapore, Kinabalu and Johor Baru (Malaysia), Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). Then Cairo (Egypt) Yangon (Myanmar) Bangkok (Thailand) Tokyo (Japan) The Hague (Netherlands).

Plt. Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, Ministry of Education and Culture, Hendarman, said that the registration of vacancies is free of charge.

“This selection is because it meets the needs of teachers at Indonesian Schools Abroad (SILN),” said Hendarman as quoted from Kompas.com, Sunday (7/3/2021).

Launching the old Ministry of Education and Culture, there are at least 31 types of teachers and education personnel needed, namely: Catholic Religion Teachers, Christian Religion Teachers, Arabic Language Teachers, Indonesian Language Teachers, English Language Teachers, and Mandarin Teachers.
