When starting her studies in Riga, Indra encountered an incorrect attitude towards her from her teacher. The academy teacher told her to lose weight by offering to suck on bread crusts as a weight loss method. Salcevicha weighed around 120 kg at the time, the teacher stressed that Indra must consume the fashion she creates.

The fashion artist reveals that she has also received a job rejection because of her appearance: “They didn’t hire me because I looked different from what they thought I should look like. There was such a stereotype that a make-up artist should look like a model, because then the artist can be trusted. “

Realizing that her dream of working in the fashion industry might not come true, Salceviča worked diligently for a year to improve her figure, losing 40 kilograms.

The fashion artist is also open on social networks, sharing her daily life and experiences. Indra does not hide that not only did she receive stinging and offensive comments during her studies, but she still receives them. At the moment, however, Indra laughs at them and states: “I personally have only one advice for people of all sizes. Be happy with yourself. Show your beauty and don’t worry about who and what you do, how you do it and how it looks.”

Also, the stylist openly talks to the public about another peculiarity of her body – psoriasis. In one of her Instagram posts, she shared that she had experienced the betrayal of her beloved man because of this feature. “Your skin was no small factor!” that’s what he said when I asked him why he cheated on me,” shared Indra.

“It drove me into feminine complexes, in a way it made me want to avoid communication with the opposite sex, to dress in black tights, tights and hoodies. To hide as much as possible. But here I am in my own skin – here and now, without hoodies, tights and hoodies. Good luck. and failures in the private life sector and with a clear awareness that I always have and will be complete with my psoriasis and its existence is not to blame for any of my failures,” shares Indra.

She makes every woman think and states: “Complexes are a completely violent and destructive phenomenon that sometimes affects the people around you more than you.”
