The incident took place at 20:15 in Şirintepe Mahallesi Akşam Sokak. Ferhat Press, who was a taxi driver and learned that he was recently released from prison, came to his brother’s house with the taxi he used. Another taxi driver friend of the Press followed him. When he came in front of his brother’s house in Akşam Street, another black car was seen on the street.
WEAPONS SOUNDS WERE HEARD
A person getting out of the black car approaching the back of two taxis standing on the street fired a bullet at Ferhat Basin. Press, who was injured in his head and various parts of his body, was taken to Kağıthane State Hospital in a taxi where he was attacked by his brother, who descended upon the gunfire. Ferhat Basin, who learned that he had just been released from prison, died despite all the interventions made in the hospital.

After the attack, many police teams were sent to the scene. In the study, the mobile phone, which is considered to be the suspect who carried out the attack, was found at the scene. The clock presumably belonging to Ferhat Basin and many empty cartridges were also found at the scene.
EYEWITNES TELL ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED
Nedim Aktaş, sitting on the street where the incident took place, told what happened. Aktaş said, “I was smoking on the balcony. The black taxi came here. It stopped at this corner. He shook a hand. Then he went to the front of the taxi. He squeezed him in the taxi in 4-5 hands. Then he cursed at the man. He got on the car and went upstairs.” said. Another street resident said, “We were sitting upstairs. There was a sound called Pat. He fired 5 shots. At that time I looked through the window. When we got down, everyone was already downstairs. Then his brother came. They threw the injured into the back seat of the taxi. They took him to the hospital.” he spoke.
