TAR plans flights to Houston and Toluca – La Prensa de Monclova

The TAR airline plans to resume operations in the second half of March if the health pandemic allows it, they will rejoin the central region with Toluca and with Houston, Texas, according to the flight plans they maintain, the airport administrator clarified. Venustiano Carranza.

Miguel Angel Villarreal Muñoz, said that in the course of last week, representatives of the airline arrived at the airport facilities to find out the status of the computer systems and the rest of the equipment that they maintain in the facilities and begin to prepare the resumption of service.

“I spoke with them and they confirmed that TAR continues with its plan to reactivate the flights, if the pandemic is kept under control it would be in the second half of March when they restart the service to Toluca and now to Houston, Texas, with those flights the region will be connected by air with the neighboring country ”he pointed out.

Regarding the sale of tickets, he said that they have not started yet but he did not rule out that at any time they begin this process, taking into account that flight plans are scheduled one month in advance and when the service is restarted in time, promotions and offers begin.

The manager recalled that it was in March of last year when TAR began to provide service in the region, but there were only two flights, in those days the health pandemic was declared that in principle reduced the number of passengers and days later the service was suspended for official instructions.

Villarreal Muñoz said that if there is interest from users of the region in the resumption of the flight, they are private passengers as representatives of companies that operate in the region and have a need to use the plane service, because of the comfort that this represents, the official said. .
