According to news released by Tang Jiali’s agency, Aimei Sports, Madrid CFF Club signed a one-year loan contract with Tang Jiali’s Shanghai Shengli Club. Tang Jiali will wear the No. 10 shirt and become the first Chinese player to play in the La Liga Women’s Football League.

Tang Jiali, 27, played as a midfielder and played for the Chinese Women’s Super League teams Jiangsu Suning and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank (later renamed Shanghai Shengli) during her career. From July 2021, Tang Jiali joined the Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur on loan until the end of last season. She is also the first Chinese player to appear in the Premier League Women’s Football League.

In addition, Tang Jiali won the championship with the team in the Asian Cup at the beginning of this year as a Chinese women’s football international.

Madrid CFF Club was established in 2010, was promoted to La Liga in 2017, and has stayed in La Liga for five consecutive seasons.
