The Thionville customs brigade spotted an a priori suspicious commercial vehicle at the junction of the A30 and A31 motorways, on the night of Saturday to Sunday June 26. It is 1:05 am and the patrol decides to intercept it. The vehicle, which is traveling from Luxembourg, does not submit to customs orders. He left the highway but was quickly identified in a supermarket parking lot in Talange. Officers search the utility vehicle and seize 710 liters of contraband alcohol, brewing over 35 degrees.
The driver is heard in stride. The alcohol, bought cheaper in Luxembourg, was obviously intended to be resold in the Paris region. His carrier should be summoned later in court.
The diversion of this merchandise is a godsend.
