Take a peek at the 10 stocks most sought after by foreigners when the JCI strengthened Friday (6/11)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) continued strengthening in trading on Friday (6/11) impacted by the results of the US Election. JCI closed parking in the green zone with an increase of 1.43% to 5,33335,529.

The JCI had fallen into the red zone after the opening of trade but returned to its climb due to positive news that Joe Biden was getting closer to winning over the incumbent Donald Trump. The market favors Biden because of the hope of certainty and to ease Trump’s engulfing global trade tensions.

All sectors green. The sector that drove the highest was the miscellaneous industry sector which jumped 4.55%, the basic industry sector advanced 2.31%, the manufacturing sector strengthened 2.03% and the infrastructure sector rose 1.49%.

The total trading volume on the IDX reaches 12.8 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 10.5 trillion. Foreign investors recorded a net buy in all markets of Rp 827.78 billion.

A total of 263 stocks rose, and 161 shares fell. Meanwhile, the other 188 stocks were stagnant.

Foreign investors are mostly after shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 284.2 billion. BBCA shares climbed 2.44% to Rp 31,500 per share at the close of trading. BBCA’s total share trading volume reached 27.6 million with a transaction value of IDR 856.9 billion.

Foreigners also bought up shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 267.3 billion. Total BBRI shares also rose 2.01% to Rp 3,560 per share. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 275 million with a transaction value of IDR 974.2 billion.

Foreigners are also hunting for shares in PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 80.8 billion. TLKM shares rose 2.17% to Rp 2,830 per share. The total trading volume of TLKM’s sahsam reached 249.5 million with a transaction value of IDR 699.9 billion.
