Erick has communicated with Hubner regarding the continuation of the naturalization process which was canceled by PSSI.

Hubner emphasized his commitment to Erick. Just waiting for the Presidential Decree and taking the oath. Opportunity to play in the 2023 Asian Cup

WHAT HAPPENED? PSSI general chairman Erick Thohir revealed that players who are descendants of Justin Hubner have expressed their commitment to become naturalized Indonesian citizens after going back and forth. This confirmation was obtained after he established communication with the English Premier League club player Wolverhampton Wanderers.

WHAT IS SAYING? Erick conveyed this assurance via his personal social media account. “After further discussions, the naturalization process for the Dutch-born player who has Indonesian ancestry, Justin Quincy Hubner, has entered the final stage,” wrote Erick via his account. Instagram.

“Next, we just have to wait for the President’s decision (Keppres) and the taking of the oath of citizenship for the Republic of Indonesia. “Hopefully all stages will run smoothly to advance Indonesian football.”

BIG PICTURE: Hubner should have been naturalized along with Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick in May 2023 for the purposes of the 2023 U-20 World Cup which was ultimately canceled in Indonesia. However, the process was left hanging after Hubner was called up to attend the Netherlands U-21 training camp in March. PSSI, through executive committee member (Exco) Arya Sinulingga, issued a statement canceling the naturalization.

[골닷컴] Reporter Kang Dong-hoon = Wolverhampton Wanderers achieved a thrilling comeback win over Bournemouth despite having a numerical advantage. Hwang Hee-chan, who started as a starter, was hit in the face by Lewis Cook during a fight of nerves and was forced to leave. His goal challenge for four consecutive games ended in failure, but he did post his first assist of the season.

Wolverhampton won 2-1 with consecutive goals from Mateusz Cunha and Sasha Kalajic in the 9th round away game of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) against Bournemouth held at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth, England, on the 21st at 11 p.m. (Korean time). achieved a comeback victory.

Wolverhampton, who achieved victory that day, maintained an upward trend by continuing an undefeated streak of 3 games (2 wins, 1 draw). With the team moving up one step to 13th place in the rankings (3 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses, 11 points), they will invite Newcastle United to their home on the 29th and challenge to go undefeated in 4 games, including 2 wins in a row.

Hwang Hee-chan started as a starter and played full time. He hit three shots, but unfortunately failed to turn into a valid shot and was silent. However, in the 9th minute of the second half, he induced Cook to be sent off after hitting him in the face during an argument, and in the 43rd minute of the second half, he helped Kalajic’s dramatic comeback goal, recording his first assist of the season.

Wolverhampton went out in a 3-4-3 formation. Led by Hwang Hee-chan, Cunha and Pedro Neto played as a three-top player and led the attack. Rayan Ait Nouri, Boubacar Traore, Joao Gomes and Matt Doherty kept the waist line.

Totti Gomes, Craig Dawson and Max Kilman formed the defensive line. The goal was guarded by Jose Sa. Kalajic, Santiago Bueno, Jonathan Castro, Joe Hodge, Tommy Doyle, Pablo Sarabia and Fabio Silva were included in the shortlist.

Wolverhampton swallowed their initial disappointment. In the 5th minute of the first half, Neto, who was on the right side, came inside through a clever dribble break, and his shot from near the right side of the penalty arc circle hit the goal post. Cunha hit the ensuing second ball, but it went straight at goalkeeper Neto Murara.

Wolverhampton, who failed to capitalize on the opportunity, conceded the first goal shortly afterwards. In the 17th minute of the first half, Philippe Billing cut to the right side of the penalty box and crossed low, which Marcus Tavernier deflected, and Dominic Solanke cleverly hit the net with his back foot in front of the goal.

Wolverhampton brought the game back to square one at the start of the second half. In the 2nd minute of the second half, Neto quickly penetrated in front of the penalty arc circle and stabbed a pass, and Cunha’s non-stop shot, which was narrowing in front of the goal, drew an exquisite trajectory and was sucked into the goal.

Wolverhampton, who continued the trend, gained a numerical advantage. In the 9th minute of the second half, Cook made a rough tackle on Hwang Hee-chan while he was protecting possession, and during an altercation, he hit him in the face with his head. In the end, he received a direct sending off from referee Paul Tierney and left the stadium.

Wolverhampton went on the offensive with a numerical advantage. In the 29th minute of the second half, a mid-range shot from right in front of Kunagya’s penalty arc circle was saved by goalkeeper Neto, and Hwang Hee-chan had a chance to score the second ball as he rushed in, but missed significantly. In the 35th minute of the second half, Neto shot Dawson’s cross in front of the goal, but it went wide.

Wolverhampton, who continued to attack, eventually turned the game around. In the 43rd minute of the second half, Hwang Hee-chan tactfully made a pass from in front of the penalty arc circle, and Kalajdjic, who was rushing in front of the goal, had a perfect chance and calmly found the net. In the end, it ended as a 2-1 win.

Wolves Respond Sarcastically to Liverpool’s VAR Controversy

Wolves –

Drama WAS make Liverpool continue to feel disadvantaged. Wolverhampton Wanderers then responded with a sarcasm.

Liverpool was disadvantaged by VAR in the match against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend. Luis Diaz’s goal was disallowed for offside, even though it was clearly onside.

Controversy arose because VAR did not provide concrete evidence that Diaz was offside. Until finally, the Referee Body admitted that there was an error in using VAR, in a match that ended 2-2.

The VAR chaos means Juergen Klopp continues to be asked about the losses his team suffered. Until finally, this made Wolves tease him.

The Wolves TikTok account made a satirical video about Liverpool’s ‘whining’ regarding VAR. Wolves showed they had also been at a disadvantage against Liverpool.

In the video, Wolves took video footage of Juergen Klopp talking about VAR ahead of the Europa League match. Then, Wolves added to it with footage from last season’s match.

The footage is taken from last season’s FA Cup match, when Wolves had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside against Liverpool in the third round. Controversy arose, because VAR could not provide valid evidence that Toti Gomes was in an offside position.

The match, which was held on January 8 2023, ended up being a 2-2 draw. Wolverhampton Wanderers then lost 0-1 in the replay match.

After the match, Wolves coach at that time, Julen Lopetegui, admitted that he was surprised that Toti Gomes’ goal was considered offside. He protested, but the result of the match still could not be changed.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Shock Manchester City with Victory Led by Hwang Hee-chan

[골닷컴] Reporter Kang Dong-hoon = Wolverhampton Wanderers caused a ‘catastrophe’ by defeating Manchester City in a match expected to be a ‘David and Goliath’ fight. Hwang Hee-chan, who started as a starter, played a full role in the offensive zone and led the way to victory by scoring the game-winning goal.

Wolverhampton took the lead with an own goal in the 7th round home game of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) against Manchester City held at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England on the 30th (Korean time) at 11:00 PM (Korean time), but allowed the score to be tied, but won 2-2 thanks to Hwang Hee-chan’s comeback goal. Won by 1.

The article continues below

Wolverhampton, who won that day, succeeded in escaping from a slump by sounding victory after four games. The ranking rose two places to 13th place (2 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses, 7 points). With the atmosphere ‘transformed’, they will invite Aston Villa to their home on the 8th and challenge for their second consecutive win.

Hwang Hee-chan started as a starter and played 86 minutes before being replaced. He showed off his light movements and hit three shots, including one effective shot, which resulted in a score. And this was the winning goal that gave Wolverhampton the win that day. In addition, he recorded four successful dribble breakthroughs.

Wolverhampton went out in a 3-4-3 formation. Led by Hwang Hee-chan, Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto played as a three-top player and led the attack. Rayan Ait Nouri, Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina and Nelson Semedo kept the waistline.

Totti Gomes, Max Kilman and Craig Dawson formed the defensive line. The goal was guarded by Jose Sa. Matt Doherty, Boubacar Traore, Sasha Kalajic, Jonathan Castro, Joe Hodge, Pablo Sarabia and Fabio Silva were included in the shortlist.

Wolverhampton, who were on the defensive, defied expectations and took the lead first by scoring the first goal. In the 13th minute of the first half, Neto quickly cut down the right side and narrowed the area in front of the goal, and then connected a cutback, which was deflected off Ruben Dias’ leg and resulted in an own goal.

Wolverhampton is in crisis. In the 20th minute of the first half, Jeremy Doku broke into the penalty box and his surprise shot missed the goal. Five minutes later, in a free kick opportunity right in front of the penalty box, Nata Ake headed a cross from Julián Alvarez, but it was blocked. In the following second ball chance, Ake also connected with a volley, but it did not result in a score.

Wolverhampton continued to overcome the crisis of conceding goals. In the 28th minute of the first half, Phil Foden took possession through pressure near the penalty box and dug in directly to hit a shot, but it was blocked by goalkeeper Sa. Two minutes later, he blocked successive shots from Mateo Kovacic and Doku.

Wolverhampton, who continued to allow shots, counterattacked with a counterattack. In the extra time of the first half, Hwang Hee-chan, who received Cunha’s forward pass, penetrated into the penalty box, peeled off Manuel Akanji with a shot feint motion, and hit a shot, but it was blocked and he swallowed his disappointment.

Wolverhampton conceded an equalizer. In the 13th minute of the second half, a foul was committed near the left corner of the penalty box and a free kick was given. As the kicker, Alvarez aimed at the near post and shook the net with a fantastic curling kick. Goalkeeper Sa tried his best, but it was not enough.

However, Wolverhampton immediately turned the game over again. In the 21st minute of the second half, Hwang Hee-chan’s cross was connected into the penalty box, and his shot was blocked by Dias, but when Cunha, who caught the second ball, gave a pass, he lightly pushed it in right in front of the goal.

Wolverhampton strengthened its defense through substitutions. In the 41st minute of the second half, Hwang Hee-chan and Cunha, who were suspected of being injured, were removed and Silva and Castro were brought in at the same time. Afterwards, they maintained their one-goal lead until the end of the remaining time, and eventually won 2-1, causing a surprise.

Liverpool Comeback and Defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 in Premier League Match

written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Wolverhampton –

Bad start, Liverpool comeback and win 3-1 over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The victory was achieved thanks to Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson and Hugo Bueno’s own goal.

From Wolverhampton vs Liverpool in the continuation of the Premier League taking place at Molineux, Saturday (16/9/2023) evening WIB. Liverpool were immediately overwhelmed from the start by the hosts’ aggressive pressing.

Wolverhampton’s quick transition then allowed Liverpool to concede in the seventh minute. Score 1-0 for Wolves’ lead lasted until halftime.

Liverpool improved in the second half. The introduction of Luis Diaz livened up their attack and led to an equalizer from Cody Gakpo.

That momentum continued, also boosted by the entry of Darwin Nunez. In the process, Liverpool got two additional goals from Robertson and Elliott’s shot which hit Bueno.

With this victory, Liverpool temporarily rose to the top of the Premier League standings with 13 points from five matches. Wolves remain in 15th position with three points.

The Course of the Match

Liverpool were immediately troubled by Wolverhampton’s pressing after the kickoff. The hosts did not let Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister feel comfortable holding the ball and controlling the game.

GOAL! Wolves took the lead in the seventh minute. Through a quick attack from the left side, Pedro Neto escaped and sent a cross which Hwang Hee-chan just pushed into the goal.

Liverpool tried to develop the game. However, aggressive pressure on their two pivots, Szoboszlai and Mac Allister, made it difficult to build attacks.

Almost! Liverpool almost conceded a second goal in the 34th minute. Neto again escaped on the left and fired a cross which fell straight to Matheus Cunha. But Cunha failed to predict the fall of the ball correctly, in the end the ball was released and secured by Liverpool’s defense.

Liverpool still cannot register a threat against Wolverhampton’s goal. Cody Gakpo’s kick from Andy Robertson’s pass in the 38th minute still deviated far from the target.

Another opportunity from Liverpool in the 46th minute, when the visitors caused chaos in the opponent’s goal. Mohamed Salah’s shot was blocked by a Wolves defender and the wild ball was again struck by Szoboszlai, who this time was cleared by the goalkeeper. The first round ends.

GOAL! Liverpool got a goal at the start of the second half, to be precise in the 55th minute. Salah received the ball on the right and released a horizontal pass which was cheated by Cody Gakpo.

Cakpo’s goal and the introduction of Luis Diaz-Darwin Nunez provided momentum for Liverpool. Several times the Diaz-Nunez combination on the left created good situations, although it did not yet threaten the home goal.

A neat opportunity from Liverpool in the 70th minute. Starting from the right, Salah sent the ball to the middle and continued with a one-two collaboration from Nunez-Diaz. It’s just that Nunez’s shot was blocked by the goalkeeper!

Szoboszlai’s long-range effort in the 75th minute still didn’t reach the goal. His shot went wide to the left.

GOAL! Liverpool took the lead in the 86th minute. Jose Sa tried to play a quick long pass from the goal, but it ended fatally.

The ball fell to Andy Robertson, who then pushed forward. He exchanged passes with Salah and calmly tipped the ball into the net from close range.

GOAL! Liverpool increased their lead to 3-1 in the 91st minute. Salah received Nunez’s pass on the right, then passed it to Harvey Elliott. From the front of the penalty box, his shot ended in the bottom right corner of the goal.

Liverpool had another chance in the final minutes. Diaz rushed into the penalty box, then his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper and saved. No more goals were scored until the match was over.
