The new episodes of the series Ulice, which is broadcast by TV Nova, will run right from the New Year. And if the well-known saying “As on New Year’s Day, as for the whole year” is fulfilled even among street heroes, it will be a year on a swing for Evžen. He cannot give in to his curiosity, so he goes to see his former boarding house, which is now owned by his ex-wife Hana. This will trigger an avalanche of unexpected events and a whirlwind of various emotions…
In recent years, it was not customary for the Ulice series to return to TV Nova screens right after a short Christmas break on New Year’s Day. This is the case this year, which will certainly please all fans of the series. In addition, we can assure viewers that some street heroes will not soon forget this New Year. Among them is also Evžen (Martin Finger) with Blanka (Linda Rybova). They will spend the end of last year and the beginning of this year in the mountains. In the Giant Mountains, in an environment that Evžen knows very well.
Although Evžen claims that he has already dealt with the past, since his ex-wife Hana returned to his life (Adéla Gondíková), it is clear to everyone that this is definitely not the case. At the end of the year, it seemed that Evžen managed to sweep all the skeletons out of the cupboards, but as soon as he finds himself back in the Giant Mountains after a long time, it will be such an onslaught for him that he simply cannot stand it.
It actually starts quite innocently – Evžen decides to go see his former boarding house, which Hana once cheated him out of. Arriving at a place where he’s been through so much makes him quite happy. Moreover, just looking from the outside won’t be enough for him, so he can’t think of anything else but to actually break into the boarding house. Unfortunately, the neighbor notices (Jana Hejret Vojtková), who immediately calls the cops on him.
But the arrest will not be the worst thing for Evžen. As soon as he enters the property years later, some memories are refreshed for him, those that were in the fog due to his drinking, and those that he simply preferred to suppress himself. Now Evžen will suddenly face them face to face, moreover, at Blanca’s side. Although he will struggle with it for a while, he will soon find out that he cannot win this battle… What will happen right in the Giant Mountains? What will be the unfortunate consequences? Why does Evžen collapse in the end? And what will the shocked Blanca confess?
And one pearl at the end for all supporters of the band Kabát and its leader Josef Vojtek. Josef’s sister Jana appears in the role of a neighbor.
The premiere episodes of the series Ulice will be broadcast by TV Nova from January 1, 2024 again from Monday to Friday in the early evening from 6:30 p.m.
