DAZN Considerably Expands College Sports Portfolio with Fox Sports Rights agreement
DAZNโ has dramatically increased its college sports offerings through a new agreement with โFox Sports, securing international rights to a considerableโข package of โNCAA content. The deal encompassesโค coverage of both men’s andโค women’s โbasketball, includingโฃ 63 games from the annual March Madness national โchampionship tournaments, and also extensive college โfootball programming.
This strategic โmove positions DAZN asโ a major international โbroadcaster โขof US collegiate athletics, providing access to gamesโข from the Big Ten, Southeastern, โBig โ12, Big โขEast, Mountainโฃ West, and โขAtlantic โขCoast conferences – representing the โคlargest collegiate athletic โฃprograms in โขthe United States. The โacquisition builds upon โDAZN’s existing American sports rights portfolio, whichโ includes NFL Game Pass, NHL, and the recent FIFA Club World Cup.
The agreement โคwillโ see DAZN broadcast 25 college football games per week during the regular season from prominent conferences like the ACC,Big 12,and SEC. Coverage extends to postseason play, featuring โฃthe College Football Playoffs, the national championship game, and select “Bowl Games” currentlyโ held by ESPN, alongside the weekly College GameDay program.
Beyond football, the deal provides international viewers with comprehensive access to NCAA Division I โmen’s and women’s basketball throughout the season, culminatingโฃ in extensiveโ Marchโ Madness tournament coverage.
