Emirates Airlines Launches Premium Economy Flights to Select Cities in India

Dubai ∙ Emirates Airlines launches premium economy flights from Dubai to select Indian cities. The offer will be available on Emirates Premium Economy to and from Mumbai and Bengaluru from October 29, the airline said. But the ticket price has not been announced.

Emirates’ new flagship A380 aircraft, which will provide a better passenger experience including new premium economy seats, will serve both hubs, officials said in a statement. Premium Economy has luxurious seats and more leg room. Premium Economy is positioned slightly above Economy Class and slightly below Business Class. Tickets can be booked from October 29. Emirates currently operates services to 10 centers in India, including Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

The eow offer is currently available on flights to nine destinations globally, including New York JFK, San Francisco and Houston in the US, in addition to London, Heathrow, Sydney, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne and Singapore. The premium economy cabins will make their debut in Los Angeles in July. The airlines also said that by the end of 2023, the number of routes offered by the Eau system will be increased to 12.

Makkah – The Saudi public security department has warned to be cautious against fake Hajj advertisements. Currently, those inside Saudi Arabia are only allowed to perform Haj through the Ministry of Haj and Umrah’s website, or through the Nusk app.

ABU DHABI: UAE residents who use drugs abroad may be caught on their return. Drug use is legal in some countries but illegal in the UAE.

Deputy Chief of Dubai Police and Public Security and Chairman of the UAE Drug Control Council Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim has warned about frequent accidents in cafes where drugs are used in foreign countries.

He said that he would not hesitate to monitor youths visiting such countries and arrest them if they return to the UAE. He was inaugurating the Drug Prevention Forum in Sharjah. The warning was given in the presence of Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief Major General Saif Al Sari Al Shamsi.

The program was organized by the General Department for Drug Control of the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with Sharjah Police. The theme of the program was ‘Join us to stop drugs’. He said that efforts should be united to fight drug addiction and appealed to parents and youth to participate in the yajna.
