TV commentator Roberto Morales does not approve of the return of Yaroslav Rakitskiy to Shakhtar. Moreover, it seems to him wrong both from a moral and from a purely football point of view. On the air of TaToTake, Morales argued his position as follows:

“Rakitskiy has a good pass, but he is bad in defense. He lacked speed before, and now he will even more so. I remember how Bayern defeated Shakhtar 7-0 in the Champions League. Rakitskiy in that game looked like terrible.

Rakytsky’s reputation among the majority of Ukrainian fans is not the best. His move to Zenit during Russia’s war against Ukraine is a career stain. It’s good that he finally changed his mind and left the club, but it’s still unacceptable.”

Shakhtar midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk will continue his career in one of the strongest clubs in the English Premier League – London’s Chelsea, the Donetsk team’s press service reports.

The clubs agreed on all the details of the transfer: Shakhtar will receive 70 million euros for the player and another 30 million euros are provided in the form of bonuses.

Mykhailo Mudryk is a graduate of Shakhtar. The player joined the Pitmen’s Academy in 2016, and in autumn 2018, at the age of 17, he made his debut in the first team. In total, he played 44 matches for the Pitmen, scored 12 goals and made 17 assists, together with the team became the owner of the Ukrainian Super Cup (2021). Fans have twice recognized Mykhailo Mudryk as the best player of the year at Shakhtar (2021, 2022).
