“You Like Nothing”: Jorge Alรญs details Clash with Helhue Sukni on “The โDivine Food”
Santiago, Chile -โ Argentine comedian Jorge alรญs has revealed the source of tensionโ with Chilean โขlawyer Helhue Sukni during their recent appearance on theโค Chileanโฃ cooking competition show, “The Divine Food.” Alรญs detailedโ a series of uncomfortable โinteractions stemming from Sukni’s initial reaction to โฃhisโ cooking,โข and a scheduling conflict that further strained their dynamic.
“The Divine Food” is a long-running Chilean television program known for its rotating cast of celebrity guests, โคoften sparking discussion-and sometimes, discord-among participants.
Alรญs explained โthat the program’s multi-day recording โคformat is inherentlyโ stressful, requiring him to manage both cooking and guest hospitality while facing critiques of hisโค dishes. โHe stated, “It was hard to record it. There areโ four โฃintense days.” He added that the conflict with Sukni โคbegan on the โขfirst night andโ colored the remainder of theirโฃ time together.
The initial friction arose over Alรญs’s first โdish, a “Prieta,”โ which Sukniโฃ reportedlyโข disliked. “The first dish I โserved โwas a Prietaโฆ โคand โshe didn’t like theโ Prieta. He said he didn’t want to eat that like it was uncomfortable,” Alรญs recounted. His response, delivered in โขa characteristically Argentineโข manner, was, “The only thing I said โwas: ‘You like nothing.'”
Further complicating matters, Alรญs revealed โฃhe had to reschedule a recording day, disrupting Sukni’s preparations. โข”She had everything organized, and I could not record one of the โคdays. He told me that he had bothered him,” Alรญs said. Sukni โreportedly expressed her frustration with the change, and Alรญs admitted, “It was โhard forโฃ me to enjoy the other days.”
