The move confirms the team’s status as one of the key recipients of support from general Motors following the introduction of the Gen3 regulations.
Team Principal Bruce Burgess stated that while the visual changes are recent, considerable preparatory work has been underway for some time. “While the signs have just gone up, there’s been an amazing amount of effort that’s been happening behind closed doors already to get started on this program,” Burgess explained. He highlighted the dedication of the existing team and the immediate impact of recent hires.
The team is preparing for the upcoming round at Queensland Raceway, with drivers David Reynolds and Anton De Pasquale set to pilot the Chevrolet Camaros. Burgess noted, “Everyone in our team has really stepped up to the plate along with a couple of new recruits who have hit the ground running. We’ve been keeping our head down behind the scenes and looking forward to getting back on track with Dave and Anton at Queensland Raceway this weekend.”
This progress follows the announcement of GM’s increased involvement in the Supercars Championship, aiming to bolster the competitiveness of its customer teams. Team
