Tech Startup Aims to Democratizeโค Child Mental Healthcare,Aligns with UN Sustainability Goals
BUENOS AIRES – A new initiative spearheaded by Venezuelan-born entrepreneur Stefan Meroslaw is leveraging technology to broaden access โto crucialโค emotional and psychological tools for children, aiming to foster a generation of emotionally healthy adults. The World Yรผ project, developed by Meroslaw, a graduate of Yacambรบ University, seeks to deliver mental health resources traditionally confined to clinical โคsettings to a wider audience.
The core mission โฃis to proactively address childhood emotional growth, providing educationโ and support to children, parents, and educators. Meroslaw explainsโ his company’s workโข is directly aligned with โขfive of the United Nationsโค Lasting Development Goals (SDG), stating, “The objective of the โcompany is to contribute, throughโ theseโ SDGs, to build a better world for the year 2030.”
Meroslaw’s method focuses on earlyโข childhood – โa period of high brain plasticity – to โestablish a foundation for solid mental health. The approach differentiates how children experience andโ react to emotions based on individual emotional โpersonalities, offering tailored educational tools for caregivers. This innovative strategy directly tackles challenges like anxiety, depression, and difficulties with emotional regulation.
“We seek to bring theโฃ psychological tools and explanationsโฃ that were only available in offices to aโ mass audience,” Meroslaw explained, emphasizing the project’s goalโ to democratize access to child mental health resources.Byโข intervening early, โขthe โคinitiative aims to prevent more complex disorders from developing in adolescence and โadulthood.
The project is the work of โMeroslaw, currently residing in Buenos Aires, and was reported by Edwin “Sports” Heviaโฃ of โ Noticias Barquisimeto.
