Latvian duo Krฤซviลลก/ล amovaโ Crowned World U21 Standard Dance Champions
Salaspils, โlatvia – Raimonds Krฤซviลลก and Elฤซna ล amova haveโ secured the World U21 Championship title in Standard dances, marking a โmeaningful achievement for Latvian dance sport. The victory took place at aโฃ recent competition in Salaspils.
The European Youth Championship saw Mateuszโ Stavovijs/Sara โฃSilva (Poland) finish fourth,โข positioningโ them as potential medalists at this year’s European Championship. Lithuania’s Pijus Palskis and Latvian dancer Anna Bฤrziลa, former European vice-champions, placed fifth, while Timoลพs Olejarลพs/Viktorija Kurda (Poland) – the Worldโ Youth Vice-Champions – finished sixth.
Ivans Ignatenko/Estere Anna siliniece, โwinners of the Valts U21 championship, achieved 11th place at the European Championship. Oฤผegs Bฤrziลลก/Amanda Meinarte and Roberts Meikลกฤns/Viktorija Smoฤผina shared 14th-16th place, with Meikลกฤns/Smoฤผina recently finishing 13th at the Youth World Championship. Klฤvs Kokin, with Lithuanian โขpartner Sauli Endriukaititi, reached the quarter-finals, placing 21st.
In WDSF ranking competitions, โRoman Dobrevtsov/Violeta Levchneko, World Championship finalists in 10 dances, secured second place in โStandard and third in Latinโค American dances. Vincencs Torremade/Maggie Dana Morite won the Latin American competition.
Kristiฤns Kalvฤns/Dana Lebedeva triumphed in the โขLatin American dance for youngโค people (16-18 years) and placed third in Standard, where Roberts Meikลกฤns/Viktorija Smoฤผina were runners-up. Ivo Zvaigzne/aleksija Pavlova earned third place in Standard at the Dance Sport โฃEurope Grand Prix for juniors II (14-15 years), while Marats Kurbatovs/Paula Kolฤa secured second in Latin American.
