KSAT 12 Announces New Digital Journalist and Highlights photojournalist
San Antonio, TX – KSAT 12, the ABC affiliate serving San Antonio and South Texas, has welcomed Gabby Jimenez to its digital journalism team, beginning in January 2025. The station also spotlighted the multifaceted career of photojournalist Ricardo Moreno Jr.
Gabby Jimenez Joins KSAT 12
A San Antonio native, Jimenez brings experience from reporting roles in Louisiana and Virginia. she is a graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU). In 2024, Jimenez received a Virginia Press Association award for her Combination Photo and Story work. Her focus at KSAT 12 will be on digital content creation and reporting for the station’s online platforms, including KSAT.com.
Ricardo Moreno: Journalist, Filmmaker, and Fitness Enthusiast
Also a San Antonio native, ricardo Moreno Jr. serves as a photojournalist for KSAT 12. Beyond his journalistic duties,Moreno is a screenwriter and filmmaker,adding a creative dimension to his news coverage. Outside of work, Moreno prioritizes fitness and enjoys spending time with his family and his Chow chow dog.
