Stevie Wonder, Questlove, Jennifer โHudson, Maxwell, โขBeck, flea, adn Leon Thomas honored Sly and the family stone โฃwiht โa vibrant โmedley at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2025 induction ceremony. The all-star tribute took place as โฃpart of the event recognizing this year’sโ classโ of inductees.
The performance celebrated the legacy of Slyโค Stone, whose groundbreaking fusion of โfunk,โฃ soul, and rock profoundly impacted generations of musicians. Wonder โฃand Beck shared lead vocals on “Danceโ to the Music,”โข while Maxwell led the group through “Everyday People.” A jam session featuring “Thankโฃ You โ(Falettinme Be Mice โElf Agin)” transitioned into aโ powerful renditionโ of “Higher” frontedโข by Jennifer Hudson. Notably, leon Thomas, recently nominated โคforโข Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, also participated in the tribute.
This year’s Rock & Roll โHall of Fame inductees โฃincludeโข OutKast, Cyndi Lauper, โsoundgarden, the White Stripes, Bad Company, Chubby Checker, and the lateโ Joe Cocker. Warren Zevon and Salt-N-Pepa were recognized with the Musical Influence Award.
