Paris taxi driver Charles (Dany Boon) is having a pretty bad day. He is deeply in debt, threatens to lose his driver’s license due to numerous traffic violations and his marriage is in danger of breaking up. But then Madeleine (Line Renaud), an elegant, resolute 92-year-old woman, gets into his cab. Since she assumes at her age that it could be her last taxi ride at any time, she asks Charles to make a few stops on the way to the nursing home: she would like to see the places that were important in her life again. Charles, initially angry and grumpy, drives off. With each stop, Madeleine’s amazing past unfolds and Charles becomes increasingly intrigued by her stories. He tells her about his troubles and Madeleine wouldn’t be Madeleine if she didn’t have some advice for Charles with her sense of humor and her wisdom. The companies in Mainfranken exported less last year than the year before. According to the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the rate has fallen by 2.8 percentage points to 41.3 percent.

Partly good news in the collective bargaining dispute of the EVG: The planned 50-hour strike on the railways has been canceled.

Haus Fuchsenmühle closed for a short time last week. The closure of the nursing home in Ochsenfurt in the Würzburg district was initially announced for the end of April and then for April 6th. The operator Curata has now commented on this.
