Former BBC Radio and television presenter Terry Wogan‘s former home, hitcham Close, is on the market, described by selling agent Savills as a property that “exudes charm and has clearly been a wonderful family home for many years.”
Hugh Maconochie of Savills highlighted the property’s “truly exceptional” garden views, noting that “Windsor castle [is] beautifully framed by thoughtfully positioned planting, creating a picturesque and memorable outlook.”
Terry Wogan, who passed away in 2016, was a prominent figure on BBC Radio from 1969. His BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, “Wake up to Wogan,” achieved significant popularity, drawing an average of approximately eight million listeners between 1993 and his semi-retirement in 2009.
