Triumph Launches โฃElectric Motorcycle Rangeโ for Young Riders,โ Built in Partnership with โคOSET
Hinwil, Switzerland – Triumphโข Motorcycles is โคexpanding its lineup with a new range of electricโค motorcycles designedโ for children and young riders, developed in โฃcollaboration with OSET, the British manufacturer Triumphโค acquired โขin mid-2022. The four newโ models – theโฃ TXP-12, TXP-16, TXP-20,โฃ and TXP-24โฃ – are available in bothโ trial โฃand enduro configurations by simply removing saddles and fenders, catering to a wide range of โages โฃand skill levels.
The TXP range is tailored to different โbody sizes and experience โฃlevels,โข featuring specific frame sizes, chassis geometries, and controls for each model. The entry point โis the TXP-12, designed for children aged threeโฃ to five. It boasts a 360mm seat height and weighs 22.7 kg,powered by aโ 600W brushless electric motor operatingโค on โ43V. Top speedโฃ is โadjustable up to 22 km/h through four performance stages.
Moving up, theโข TXP-16 caters toโข riders aged five toโฃ seven, offering aโฃ larger frame,โฃ improved suspension, a more powerful โฃ765W motor, and a maximum speed of 30 km/h.It maintains a manageable weight of 26.2 kg and โขa 450mm seatโค height, and โคfeatures hydraulic brakes instead of cable-operated ones.
The TXP-20, โfor children aged seven to ten, โขis powered by aโ 1200W motor running โฃon 50V, capable of reaching 35 km/h.It offers 125mm and 120mm of suspension travel,โค weighs 40.7 kg, and has a 525mm โseat height. Braking power comes from dual 180mm discs with double-pistonโ calipers.
the TXP-24 โis designed for youngโข people aged ten and โup, and even adults. It featuresโค a 1600W motor,reaching โa regulatedโ top โspeed ofโ almostโ 40 โฃkm/h. With a 1220mm wheelbase and 305mm of โground clearance, it allows for advancedโค maneuvers, supported by 160mmโ and 145mm of suspension travel.โค Braking is handled by four-piston calipers andโ 203mm and 180mm โbrake discs. The TXP-24โ weighs 48 kg in trial configuration and has โฃa 635mm seat height.
Triumph is encouraging early orders to ensure delivery before Christmas 2025. Pricing in Germany has โฃyetโ to beโ announced, but in โSwitzerland, โคthe TXP rangeโข is priced between CHF 1895 and CHFโ 4395.
