KD’s strategic partnership with Leopard imaging for the system’s cameras underscores a commitment to leveraging high-performance, compact automotive camera technology. This collaboration aims to validate KD’s optical transceiver’s ability to meet stringent industry standards, such as IEEE 802.3cz, when paired with small optical sensors. The LI-VENUS-ISX031 camera, a key component in this system, features high-resolution, wide-angle imaging and a remarkably small form factor, measuring less than 20 millimeters on each side. This compact design is crucial for applications where minimizing aerodynamic drag is essential, such as integration into side mirrors.
