He added that Russia was continuing its “special military operations” in Ukraine, but had so far seen no signs of a peaceful resolution.
He declined to comment on U.S. media reports that China was considering giving Russia drones.
China announced an “unrestricted friendship” with Russia just before Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of 20 countries and regions (G20) that ended on the 25th, most countries and regions condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but the adoption of a joint statement was postponed due to opposition from Russia and China. .
