New Delhi – Farmers’ Maha Panchayat today announced its support for the strike of wrestling players. The strike is demanding action on the sexual assault complaint against BJP MP and former president of the National Wrestling Federation, Brijbhushan Saran Singh. The farmers’ leaders turned away the wrestlers who came to Haridwar yesterday and announced that they would protest by pouring their medals into the Ganga.

Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Naresh Tikayat said that the Mahayoga of all khap panchayats will meet in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh and discuss the wrestlers’ strike. Khap heads from states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi will participate in the Maha Panchayat.

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh said that he is ready to die by hanging if the complaint of sexual assault of wrestlers is proved.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) intervened in the complaint of the wrestlers. The IOC responded that it is very concerned that the wrestling players were assaulted and that a strong investigation should be conducted into the complaint filed by the players. BENGALURU – There is an indication that the Congress government will lift the much-controversial hijab ban in Karnataka. One of the reasons for the BJP’s election defeat is the Hijab ban. It is reported that the Congress will consider withdrawing the hijab ban after the government comes to power.

“If God wills, we will lift the hijab ban imposed by BJP in educational institutions in the coming days. Those girls will be given a chance to go back to school. They can write exams. “Girls have lost 2 precious years” – said Kanees Fatima, who won as the only Muslim woman MLA in the Congress.

In Uttara Gulbaraga, Kanis defeated BJP’s Chandrakant B. Patil by 2,712 votes. Last year, the BJP government issued an order banning the hijab in educational institutions in Karnataka. There were reports that many female students dropped out.

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com May 6, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Kochi ∙ Opposition leader V.D.Sathisan said there was a corruption of 100 crores in the road camera project. Satheesan said that Prakash Babu, the father-in-law of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s son, had attended the consortium meeting. Satheesan said that if an investigation is conducted in this regard, evidence will be provided. In a press conference held in Kochi, Satheesan alleged that Bhima had implemented the project with a total cost of less than 50 crores.

“Cheap cameras and accessories were bought at huge prices. SRIT, which is part of the project, received 6 percent commission. Troyes Company had informed that the project can be implemented for 57 crores. A proposal of 157 crores was given for goods worth 45 crores. A strange scam has taken place in the camera project.

The Alhind company had informed the government about the fraud much earlier. The Industry Secretary was informed about this on October 23, 2021. Alhind report was given when P. Rajiv was the Minister of Industry. Alhind stated that he is withdrawing from the project. Prakash Babu, father-in-law of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s son, has attended the consortium meeting.

This consortium is also part of the agreement between SRIT and Keltron. But one company in the consortium is withdrawing after raising serious allegations. Did the companies that paid money ask Prakash Babu for the money back? Minister Rajeev should answer in this regard. Minister Rajeev and Industry Secretary knew that it was a big fraud.”- Satheesan alleged.
