And the “Cairo 24” website confirms: “Some of the fans present during the Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad match in Alexandria, which brings the two teams together in the Egyptian Basketball Super Cup, were injured, such as the Alexandrian I Al-Ittihad fans collapsed after the catwalk suddenly fell on them, amidst cries for help from fans, who asked the audience to participate. Get an ambulance urgently.”
And he stated: “The cameras documented the fall of a footbridge towards the headquarters of the Alessandrina Federation, among some of the participants who tried to save the situation and try to keep away the public present in the same point where the footbridge fell,” adding : “The fall of the runway also caused about 27 injuries, including one serious case.”
