Espรญrito Santo Surpasses 22,000 โDoses Administered During Multivaccination “D-Day”
Cariacica, espรญrito Santo -โ A statewide “D-Day” initiative propelled the Multivaccination Campaign in Espรญrito Santo past 22,000 doses โadministered on October 21st,โ according toโค state officials. The push aims to bolster immunization rates across all age groups,especially among children and adolescents,and address declines linked to misinformation.
Launched October 6th,the โcampaign focuses on selectively โreaching individuals under 15 with incomplete or โmissing vaccinations from the National Immunization program. Expanded eligibility now includes HPV vaccination for โคthoseโ aged 15-19 โand measles vaccination forโข individuals up to โ59,alongside healthcare workers needing updated protection. Governorโ Renato Casagrande emphasized the critical importance of updated vaccination records, stating, “It is significant to update the vaccination card at any age. We are callingโข on children,young peopleโ and adolescents so that we can โฃhave a healthy society.”
The Multivaccination Campaign operates through a network of 600 vaccination stationsโ across espรญrito Santo’s 78 municipalities. State health authorities report a concerted effort to rebuild public trust and vaccination coverage following a period of decreased uptake attributed to the spread of false โinformation. The campaign continues through โขOctober 31st.
