Baltimore Traffic Alert: Stadium Game & Multiple Events to Impact Weekend Travel
BALTIMORE, MD – A busy weekend is anticipated for Baltimore City, with a major football game at the stadium alongside several community events triggering important traffic changes starting today and continuing through Sunday.Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Gameday Traffic – Saturday:
Expect substantial alterations to traffic flow around the stadium, notably during the fourth quarter egress. Specific changes include:
* Warner Street: Closed between Worcester and West Ostend Streets due to construction. A one-way pattern will be in effect on gameday - northbound for ingress, southbound for egress – alongside a dedicated pedestrian walkway.
* alluvion,Worcester,& Bayard Streets: Special traffic patterns will be implemented for efficient departure after the game.
* Hamburg Street: Closed between Hanover and Charles Streets for post-game egress.
* Hanover Street: No southbound travel permitted between Henrietta and Hamburg Streets. Traffic will be diverted onto Henrietta Street for east or westbound travel.
City officials remind fans that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations will be strictly enforced. Utilizing commercial parking lots and public transportation, including the charm City Circulator, is highly recommended.
Saturday Road & Ramp closures (Beyond Stadium Area):
Several closures are in place for other events and maintenance:
* MD 295: Monroe Street exit ramp (northbound) and the eastbound access ramp to southbound MD 295 will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. for cleaning and repairs.
* Mulberry Street: Closed between Eutaw and Howard Streets from 7 a.m.to 3 p.m. due to crane operation.
* Fayette & Payson Streets: Closed between North Payson and North Pulaski Streets (Fayette) and North Pulaski Street and Fairmount Avenue (Payson) from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Grace Community Day.
* Charles, Wyndhurst, Roland & Northern Parkway: Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. along these roadways for the Little Sisters of the Poor 5K.
Sunday, September 14, 2025:
* Jones falls Expressway / I-83: Left lanes, both northbound and southbound, will be closed between Fayette Street and the city/county line from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning and repairs.
