Seiko Revives 1969 Speedtimer with Limited Edition Prospex Model for Automotive Enthusiasts
Seiko has released aโข special edition Prospex Speedtimer Chronograph (ref. SSC959P1) inspired โขby European cars of the 1960s andโ its own 1969 Speedtimer. The solar-powered โฃchronograph features a beige dial, reminiscent of vintageโข aesthetics,โ and maintains the durability โขof the original Speedtimer.
Three black โฃcounters are positioned atโ the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, contrasting against the champagne-colored dial.A date window sits between the indexes. The 39mmโฃ stainless โsteel case measures 13.3mm thick and 45.5mm long.
The โขwatch โincludes a โstainless steel bracelet โฃwith โa three-fold push-button release clasp,and an interchangeable sand-colored perforatedโค leather strap. A tachymeter scale is โคfeatured on the steel bezel. โThe dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with an โanti-reflective coating.
This limited โฃedition follows the launch โof the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Chronographe tokyo 2025 withโค a lilac dial earlier this year.
