Hardly there, already the first trouble!
Just last week, the Brazilian superstar moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi Arabia to Al-Hilal – now the first quarrel about Neymar has flared up.
His new coach is angry – but not at the superstar, but at the Brazilian association.

Background: Neymar is currently injured and cannot play for his new desert club. Muscular problems prevent Al-Hilal from making a quick debut.
But despite his injury, Neymar is now set to travel to the Brazil national team – and that upset Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus.

“Neymar arrived injured, he has minor muscular problems,” said the Portuguese about his new superstar at a press conference after the 1-1 league game against Al-Feiha. He can therefore not say exactly “when exactly he is ready to play and train normally”.
Neymar will probably not be able to make his debut until after the international match on September 15 against Al-Riyadh at the earliest. But before that he could play for Brazil again. The Seleção meets Bolivia on September 9th and Peru on September 13th. If the association has its way, Neymar should appear in the two World Cup qualifiers.
Jesus criticizes the association: “He shouldn’t be available to the Brazilian team, he shouldn’t travel there. He’s in rehab.”
Neymar hasn’t played for half a year
The Brazilian played his last competitive game on February 19. Back then, PSG faced OSC Lille in Ligue 1. After that, he had to undergo ankle surgery.
Nevertheless, Al-Hilal paid the Parisians a fee of 90 million euros for Neymar. His contract in France would have expired in 2027. At Al-Hilal he now has a contract until 2025, with the option for another season. As a salary, he probably collects around 100 million euros per season.
He hasn’t played for his new club yet – and yet there’s already bad air…
