Russian State Duma Deputy Admits Ukraine’s Superiority in Drone Technology: The Ugly Truth from the Front

Russian State Duma deputy Borodai said that Russian patriots are rejoicing too early and spoke about the ugly truth from the front.

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and founder of the so-called “DPR” Alexander Borodai said on Channel One that Russian patriots rejoice early and shout about victories, because Ukraine does not give up and is not going to give up, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in many ways superior to the Russian army in terms of equipment.

About it reported Ukrainian journalist and blogger Denis Kazansky on his YouTube channel.

According to Boroday, Ukrainian troops are equipped with kamikaze drones much better than the Russian military. The latter are literally howling from the large number of FPV drones in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“We sometimes start clapping our hands early, – said the State Duma deputy. – Thank God, bad, disgusting weather is coming now. Rain, snow and mud are the best weather for us now, because the enemy simply has an extremely large number of enemy birds.”

Then, as Kazansky noted, some kind of sedition began on the air of the Russian channel. The State Duma deputy openly admitted that Ukraine is ahead of Russia in both the quantity and quality of FPV drones. And this despite the fact that Russia has much greater capabilities and resources, and in Ukraine, the supply of drones to the front is not even carried out by the state, but simply by volunteers.

Thus, Ukrainian civil society turned out to be much more effective than the Russian military colossus, Kazansky concluded.

Let us recall that Denis Kazansky reported that Russian propaganda recognized the ugly truth about the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine: “We have moved on to the fight for villages.”

We invite you to find out how Rospropaganda was embarrassed with a fake about Elena Zelenskaya’s “Russian passport”.

Why Strengthening Mobilization is Essential for Ukraine’s Military Service, According to Ukrainian Armed Forces Officer

A Ukrainian Armed Forces military officer explained why it is necessary to strengthen the mobilization of those liable for military service in Ukraine.

Military Armed Forces of Ukraine and commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 28th separate mechanized brigade Walid notes that in Ukraine it is necessary to strengthen mobilization activities, because this is “a matter of survival, the army, the combat effectiveness of the troops.”

This is what he’s talking about told in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.

“I am perhaps one of the few military men who has an opinion that is unpopular in society, even among the military. We still all watch the news and listen to how it is. And if we make such a generalization about mobilization, it looks like this image: here is some ordinary Ukrainian, he is a very good person, he wants to defend his Motherland, but they didn’t find an approach to him, they didn’t find the key for him to go,” he commented.

According to the military man, most men in Ukraine simply do not want to serve. Because the generation born in 1980-1990 was not raised in patriotism.

“This mood is not among the masses. The fact that we have separate nationalistic or national organizations is not an indicator; these people are very few, if you take a percentage of everyone. I look at the people coming now and their motivation – it’s just sadness. there is something to compare with, as it was at the beginning (of the war – ed.), when everyone gathered, there were queues, then six months later, a year later, I see this gradation or degradation of motivation. It is very low. And if we now look for an approach to everyone, then we simply won’t have time to replenish the army,” explains Walid.

In his opinion, if we talk about strengthening mobilization, we are talking about responsibility. And here it should not be taken into account whether a person wants or does not want.

“When the state demands taxes from businessmen or an enterprise, it does not ask whether they want to pay or not – this is an obligation. And these people must also go to serve… If we look only for motivated people, we will not get even 20% of what what the Ministry of Defense or the General Staff wants now. But I think that if the already mobilized people are treated correctly, then a certain percentage of them will find this motivation already there (at the front – ed.),” the commander of the reconnaissance platoon summed up.

Let us remind you that the head of the National Security Committee spoke about scandalous incidents with representatives of military registration and enlistment offices.

Ukraine’s M-113 Armored Personnel Carriers Mounted with ZU-23-2 Cannons Prove Effective Against Drones and Enemy Infantry

The ZU-23-2 cannon mounted on the M-113 armored personnel carrier perfectly destroys not only enemy personnel, but also drones.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry decided to install Soviet ZU-23-2 cannons on old American M-113 armored personnel carriers, which eventually became a very effective weapon against drones and enemy infantry.

Experts say that these two systems from the times of the USSR were simply created as a share of each other, the publication reports Forbes.

The anti-aircraft gun was created back in the 1960s and is equipped with two 23 mm cannons that fire at a distance of up to 2 km at a speed of 400 rounds per minute.

The American M-113 armored personnel carrier was also developed in the 1960s. It weighs up to 14 tons, seats 11 passengers and has a diesel engine with a capacity of 275 horsepower.

Experts say that the armored personnel carrier has poor armor, but if you add a turret and additional armor, the armored vehicle can be turned into a tank. And the anti-aircraft installation “23-2” made the armored personnel carrier an effective weapon in the fight against enemy drones and infantry.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have long learned to install the ZU-23-2 on various military equipment, but only at the end of last week did footage of the ZU-23-2 on the M-113 armored personnel carrier appear on the Internet.

It is known that the West has supplied Kyiv with about a thousand of these armored personnel carriers. They are used not only on the battlefield, but also in military medicine, and also as evacuation transport.

Experts are surprised that the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a long time did not think of installing ZU-23-2 armored vehicles.

There is also footage on the Internet of how, with the help of such installations, Ukrainian defenders destroy kamikaze drones in the sky.

We previously reported that after receiving F-16s from Norway, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to launch a new counter-offensive in the Kherson region.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian military correspondent Mashovets announces the gathering of enemy forces in the Kupyansk area.

Latest News on Russian Offensive in Ukraine: Ukrainian Troops Holding Strong on Multiple Fronts

As noted in the report, in the north, in the Kupyansk region, the western group of Russian troops continues to conduct a large-scale, but ineffective offensive operation.

In addition, in the northern Donetsk region, Ukraine has maintained a stable front line in the face of small Russian attacks in the Bakhmut area.

According to British intelligence, active fighting for Avdeevka continues, while Russian troops built on gains made in late December 2023 around Marinka, where they finally advanced to the western edge of the city after nine years of fighting in the area.

“In southern Ukraine, Russian airborne troops are likely to have made minimal progress in a new attempt to dislodge the Ukrainian bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Dnieper near the village of Krynki,” the British Ministry of Defense notes.

Situation at the front

Let us remind you that the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Sergei Grabsky, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, said that Ukrainian troops are confidently defending in different directions, the dynamics of the battles are extremely high, so the situation at the front is not yet a stalemate.

Grabsky stated that the only promising direction for the offensive of the Ukrainian army is the south, because without a strategic solution to the issue of the South it is impossible to talk about any advance to the East.

Russian Massive Missile Attack on Ukraine Raises Concerns for Future Strikes

Russian Massive Missile Attack on Ukraine Raises Concerns for Future Strikes

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 2, 2024
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Ignat was asked whether Russia would be able to repeat such a massive strike. Because only four days have passed since the last such attack. And this is despite the forecasts of Western experts that such a massive attack cannot happen again.

“For preparation, I think those few days are enough. Plan if they have certain patterns“, said Ignat.

He added that each missile is programmed – a route is formed, where it should turn right, left, where to rise and where to launch an attack. This is done by the relevant specialists.

“The question is in missiles, how many can they afford to launch next time. And will they be able to replenish this stock,” the speaker said.

Ignat recalled that the Russians had long ago exceeded the untouchable supply of missiles, and now they continue to do so.

“We see that they used a lot of air-launched X-type missiles. They haven’t been using “calibers” lately, very, very little,” he clarified.

Massive attack by Russians

Let us remind you that today, January 2, the Russian occupiers tried to attack Ukraine with missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones.

The main target of the missile attack was Kyiv. The enemy launched a large number of cruise missiles at the capital, as well as 10 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.

The air defense forces were able to shoot down 72 Russian missiles. There were casualties as a result of falling debris in Kyiv.

You can find out more about the consequences of the strike in the RBC-Ukraine article.

This letter came to the mail of Ksenia Goncharova, a propagandist from the TV project “Ours” on the “Russia 1” channel. In the letter, Evmenov confirms the death of most of the ship’s personnel, as well as the injuries of another 27 occupiers.

The release was published by most Crimean media, but later they deleted the publication. At the same time, there were screenshots that confirm the relevant information.

According to the Center of Resistance, everything looks like the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy initiated mourning and mailings without coordination with his leadership.

Strike at Novocherkassk

Let us remind you that on the night of December 26, the Ukrainian Air Force launched a missile attack on the large landing ship Novocherkassk, which was located in the port of Feodosia.

As a result of the strike, the ship was destroyed. It also carried Shahed drones, making the explosion extremely powerful.

On December 27, information appeared in the media that among those killed on board the Novocherkassk there were conscripts.

The Russians also tried to find gunners in Feodosia. To do this, a large number of operatives were sent to the city.
