Ukraine Re-establishes โขDiplomatic Ties โwith Syria, โGains โคMomentumโ on Frozen Russian Assets
KYIVโ – ukraine โhas restored diplomatic relations โฃwith Syria, President volodymyr Zelenskyy announced following โคa meeting with Foreignโฃ Minister Andriiโค Sybiha, signalingโค a โrenewed โeffort toโข broaden international cooperation. Zelenskyy stated Ukraine is actively working with Syria โ”bilaterally for the security and growth ofโ both countries.”
The proclamation came alongside updates on Ukraine’s efforts to secure funding for its defence and โrecovery. Zelenskyy โreported receiving “positive โคsignals from partners โon theโ use ofโข frozen Russian assets” for โthese purposes.
Ukraine is also focusedโฃ on bolstering its domestic armsโ industry and initiating controlled exports of Ukrainian-made weapons. “Another agreement was reached โฃonโข this,” Zelenskyy said, “and we are alreadyโ working with โคfour โคcountries to โopen โour exportโ platforms.”
Zelenskyy further noted record-level participation from โฃinternational representatives in events related to Ukraine,indicating growing global consensus. He expressed confidence that the international communityโค increasingly recognizes Russia as the sole impediment toโ ending the ongoing war, โand that pressureโค on Moscow will therefore continue.
