The Lord of the Rings -the actor Ian McKellen, 85, known as Gandalf in the movies, reveals that he is not ready to retire yet. Instead, he says he’s ready to return to his legendary role as Gandalf.
The actor throws water to the mill about the possible return of the legendary film. According to the Big Issue magazine, the actor gives the green light to play the role of Gandalf.
– I heard that there would be a sequel to the film and Gandalf would be involved. They hope I would still play him, McKellen reveals to the magazine.
– When? I don’t know. What is a script? It hasn’t been written yet. However, they should be quick, he continued his story.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast, the actor also admits that he has no intention of retiring for a while.
– I will continue as long as my legs, lungs and mind work, he told the BBC.

Recovering from a summer accident
In June, McKellen fell off the stage of a theater in London. He fell off the stage headfirst onto a woman in the audience. The play that was left in the middle was interrupted and the star was immediately rushed to the hospital. As a result of the accident, he had to interrupt the summer Player Kings – theater tour.
Now the actor has talked about his recovery and current health in an interview with Big Issue.
– I feel physically weak.
