Table tennis players from Castres Tarn sud are starting their season with a bang

Like all sports clubs, Castres Tarn Sud Table Tennis had been forced to put its activities to sleep during confinement. Training open to all

Open to young beginners as well as to experienced young players, training takes place at the Borde-Basse gymnasium on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. If registrations are still open, speed is essential because places are limited. For senior women and men, the club welcomes its members on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. An adapted sports section, with supervision, is also in place every Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Leisure or competition, whatever your ambition, there is a place for you within Castres Tarn Sud Table Tennis which provides you with tables, rackets and balls and offers you three free practice sessions. All this, of course, in the strictest respect of the sanitary rules in force decreed by the federation of table tennis.

Alexandre Sol distinguished by the departmental committee

The recent holding of the general assembly of the Tarn table tennis departmental committee was an opportunity to highlight several local table tennis players. These athletes were rewarded for their results during the 2019-2020 season, but also for all of their performances over the period of the Olympiad from 2016 to 2020. Among the table tennis players in the spotlight was the Castres. Alexandre Sol who received his award from the head of the departmental youth and sports service. This distinction rewarded the gold and silver medals obtained by the table tennis player from the sub-prefecture in Australia and during the European championships. To continue to evolve at the highest level, Alexandre has resumed training in the clubs of Labruguière and Castres.
