Syrian Ministry of Health: The earthquake toll has risen to 237 deaths and 639 injuries

The Syrian Ministry of Health announced that the earthquake’s death toll had risen to 237 deaths and 639 injuries, in the governorates of Aleppo, Lattakia, Hama, and Tartous. And it confirmed in a statement, “Since the first moments of the earthquake, the emergency management room in the Ministry of Health met, and the evaluation and response began.” Noting that “the Ministry of Health has mobilized all public and private health facilities in all governorates, and medical convoys are being managed in the governorates (ambulances equipped with their cadres – mobile clinics equipped with their cadres – supply vehicles that include emergency and surgical supplies and medicines), and they are sent to the affected areas.”
